I managed an oversees Indian dev team once.

Nothing worked except micro-management to mitigate their ass-covering contract legalism to paper over the lies and sub-par performance. The 1 or 2 exceptional people were not nearly enough.

Never again. Never.

I've worked with Aussies, Kiwis, South Africans, Poles & Slavs, Germans, Chinese, you name it.

Indians are consistently the worst bar none.

I've been using and recommending Debian for years. No more. I also use Fedora so maybe I'll focus on that from now on.

Funny that it was named Debian by Ian Murdock, the super talented software engineer who created it, to include his wife Debbie's name, hence Debian. So literally a white married heterosexual couple.

Locally it shouldn't. xdotool is used to simulate keyboard input and mouse activity on X11 systems, so it requires those perms only if you're running it over a network protocol like VNC.

I use Debian, but if I recall, using and configuring a VNC server like vinagre should fix this. Hope this helps.

Not easy. The disease of chivalry has deeply corrupted Western culture for almost 1000 years. Hell, the first Western novel, Don Quixote, written in 1605 had literal whiteknighting as a central theme.
