@shortstories Personally I agree with US tariffs.

Prices for goods in the US are too cheap which causes americans to consume too much of basically everything, effectively crowding out other buying countries. As they lose their purchasing power, it will be relatively cheaper for all other countries to competitively buy all the goods that would have gone to the US due to their current higher purchasing power.

Taxes are always about redistribution of wealth in the end.
