@basedbagel If anyone insists on using the term "Common Era" (BCE or CE in either case), ask them what the reason is for distinguishing these eras. Just what could have happened at/around the year we started counting up from 0.

You can not predict what someone who does not have your knowledge about something that you have will do or think differently because of their missing knowledge
For example if you are a gem sales person and know the knowledge of a gem's typical sales price in the present market you can not predict what someone without that knowledge will think it is typically sold for
