Let's say we can print unlimited money but we can not print food

The logical cold war strategy would be to buy as much stuff from foreign countries as possible until our money gets worthless

Then we will have lost nothing because our money is worthless but will have gained a bunch of stuff

Especially stuff like upgrading our roads, and pipes and electricity supply sources and military equipment

Then they run out of oi and natural gas underground but we still have it underground
