How many guilty men do you need to set free in order to not imprison an innocent man

I would guess that more than 80% of the adult Jews in German concentration camps were guilty of trying to commit genocide

If they just let them go free they would have killed more people than died in the concentration camps

Jews declared war on Germany in 1933

Although not all people with Jewish ancestors supported this

At that point putting them in prison in concentration camps was self defense

I am going to guess that they did not use that type of analysis when a bunch of males got sent to jail based on DNA and that a lot of them are not guilty

If they were ignoring junk DNA when testing to compare two samples to see if they were from the same individual or two different individuals

Then they might have had a lot of incorrect results where they claimed someone's DNA matched another person's DNA when it did not

I think there are probably a lot of men who got found guilty on the basis of DNA who were not guilty in the past

I do not know if this problem continues today but it would not surprise me if it does

It is not like a binary code in a sequential order but more like cutting and pasting code & putting it in whatever order you want to create fake matches

It would be like slicing a book into sections and then saying some of the sections match with sections of other books

But if you slice it into enough sections and make the sections small enough then you will get a lot more matches where two different people are claimed to have the same DNA when they are not identical twins

I did a biology lab in high school where they claimed to split DNA and then sort it into sections by molecular length where the sections with longer molecular length are heavier and do not travel as far under electrophoresis if I remember correctly

Thinking back on the day has got me to start to doubt that we really know how to do DNA testing or that we really knew how to do DNA testing as a society when I was in high school

I think a lot of the DNA test results were fake

If police are allowed to use these objects without a search warrant to see through walls then it would logically follow that civilians are allowed to use them to see through police walls

It is not worth debating with people that talk about sample size in peer review journal articles that use statistical significance tests because when they use statistical significance tests instead of real science they do not have the necessary foundation for rationality
