I think that the people who last longest on this network are people who like tech, the network in itself is the content, there doesn’t need to be much more, just remember to migrate to another instance from time to time or update your server if you run your own. That's about it.

it is very far from free speech and most of Fediverse hates free speech anyway, especially in Germany.
there is plenty of photography because everybody is a photographer nowadays, the photos are often of a very good quality. There are many professionals too.They produce professional quality photos, I don't do that.
when people document their surroundings with photos, you can travel to places you have never been to, it can be very interesting.
you make a post and you may notice that someone has seen it, that's the form of communication on Fediverse
