I wanted to bring your attention to this if you're not already (this is going to be a repost on MMM too):

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau in the US has just announced a price cap on credit card late fees. They've been $32; now they can be no more than $8.
Card issuers are also forbidden from increasing fees past $8 to keep pace with inflation unless they can "prove" the higher fee is necessary to cover their costs.

There's something interesting about endangered animals, some that shrink down to only a few hundred, and then grow back to population sizes that can be reintroduced. Wouldn't they have an insane amount of defects due to close interbreeding and go extinct?

Well it turns out when animal populations get that small, yes a huge number of births have large numbers of horrific birth defects and they die. But the ones that survive usually lack a lot of the really bad recessive traits. Animals in super low population do naturally shed bad recessive genes just due to statistical probability and the resulting generations can grow quite rapidly.

Which of these three types of tax is the most harmful to human freedom in the United States of America in the method that they are currently enforced

Which would be better

Create Universal Basic Income UBI for adult citizens but remove all other forms of welfare and fire or change job duties for all government employees that decide who qualifies for welfare among adult citizens

They would be replaced with people who simply make sure people are not committing fraud by getting UBI through extra fake identities.

Having more children would not mean more UBI, single moms would not get more benefits

Or

Keep other forms of welfare & no UBI
