Women who complain that men "do not have to sacrifice their career to have a family" fail to realize that for men, the choices of career and family are not mutually exclusive, but mutually inclusive. These women do not realize that men can't afford to NOT have a career if they want relationship success with women. Women seek men who earn more, thus having a career elevates a man in status and gives him a chance to be selected.

Yes, this does not work the same for women, because if a man wants to have children, he cannot have his wife be so devoted to her career that she is not willing to give that up to have children. Maybe this is not "fair" for women who want both the career AND children, but it is also not "fair" that men have to make something of themselves in order to be in the position to have a family.

That is just reality, regardless of whether you think it is fair or not.

What I am stating does not factor in the welfare state that allows for the dysfunctional broken homes to exist. That breaks the whole dynamic, thus creating the problems we see in many western countries with welfare states.

So the loss of SNAP benefits for many will bring about the necessary balances needed for these dynamics to work. But I am not counting on this being permanently changed.

@ArmchairEconomist01 At risk of sounding like a huWhite knight (or a spinster user), I'm going to acknowledge that although men have always had it hard, and in most cases the bullshit they face has intensified, there's nothing really new under the sun.

With women on the other hand, the culture they're now in is absolutley toxic in a way that few were able to forsee. Things like being introduced into the workforce, taking up roles that they're ill-suited for, being propagandized out of their natural instincts... I mean, there's a reason why their psych med use has skyrocketed. I'd be surprised if any guys reading this have ever been to therapy.

You might be able to say "well they voted for it" or whatever, but at the same time we let them. I think that "hatred" women have for men is really more like resentment, resentment that we keep letting them continue their self-destruction.

They hate you from the time you're even young too. Look at how school teachers (esp female ones) treat little boys disproportionately as "misbehaving" and "in need of correction" in comparison to girls.

Living in this world as a man, it quickly becomes apparent why men die off quicker than woman in every age group, (precipitously more after age 65).

And it's obvious on why men committ 80% of the suicides. I'm sure the real number is 95%.

It's stupifying to see how poorly men are treated in this world & how little the average man is valued.

I'm stunned women even give birth to us when so many of them have a hatred for men.

Again, the hatred is NOT reciprical at any level on our end.
