@Yorsshitposter @PapaPole @CygnusX1 @Tfmonkey people like this are totally invested in their position and are unwilling to change their point of view. In this "debate" he's just looking for reasons not to concede any point tfm makes. Probably because he's too worried about the social (+ economic) cost of having an unpopular opinion.
@PapaPole realistically, there isn't anything I could have done.
I used to deal with these types before. Providing sources doesn't solve anything. They find reasons to dismiss your sources until you run out and then declare victory or send you hunting for more.
I call this tactic "do my homework".
@Tfmonkey @PapaPole You had him on the ropes his Idea of “Red Pill” extreme is Andrew Tate,He was totally on the defense debunk source strategy, struggling to find and read google articles to dismiss your charts to prove his point. He had never even fathomed that welfare was an issue for red pill community it made his leftist brain implode. The fact that the Black Family has been destroyed by welfare couldn’t even register as a fact because he has never witnessed the reality in the “Hood”
@Tfmonkey finally
@Tfmonkey may i ask, what made you do this debate with destiny?
@theFlow Playing with Fire asked nicely. In hindsight, it was a mistake and a waste of time. I specifically said I didn't want a debate because I hate the tactics.
I'm not afraid of debate. It's just annoying and a waste of my time. I've done it enough times to know.
@Tfmonkey Aww man, 3 hrs later and I see this...
@Tfmonkey Destiny is tedious and literally this meme is the two of you. Once he gets divorced raped for breadtube money he will know the definition of Hypergamy.
@CygnusX1 It doesn't matter. I'm more upset about having my time wasted.
@ChuddyBuddy69 @CygnusX1 I'm still technically on YouTube, but I only publish sex toy reviews there now because anything else will get my channel deleted.
@Yorsshitposter @ChuddyBuddy69 @Tfmonkey Is that for me? I'm still getting used to this platform. I've been watching since around 2016 the chart memes were just ball busting
@Tfmonkey man what a clusterfuck. i dont think bringing sources would've changed anything. destiny would've just looked at them and debooked them. he's severely underestimating how bad things are especially if he's not against cutting welfare and suffrage. but i guess time will tell, if you're right we're all fucked & if he's right its business as usual. its the audience best interest to air on the side of caution.
You're right on the first part, I've seen it. If you present Destiny a study, he'll skim it and hyper-focus on a word, size of sample, year, region; and will immediate dismiss it. And that's it, you're out of studies.
And he does read with the intention to look for "something" to dismiss the study for.
@Tfmonkey @kaiservenom yeah you can easily tell he’s that kind of guy. It’s all studies until, it doesn’t validate his point then it’s debooked. I guess you can say from a normie perspective TFM looked bad cause he didn’t have his sources. But I look at it like this, anyone genuinely interested in understanding the problem rather than validating their pre-existing beliefs will do their own research & look it in to it themselves. NPCs that need to be forced fed aren’t worth the time.
Agreed with your conclusion.
TFM, through a nuance, normie lenss: came off as someone dumb and dishonest. And that's the impression many people left with. But because they can't counter-attack someone as highly neurotic and witty as Destiny, it's not even worth playing Devil's advocate. So be deboonked or else.
But at the same time, these are normies. They only listen to power.
@kaiservenom @Pain66 Destiny isn't witty. I used to have these internet debates in the past and I stopped because I hate the 'do my homework" tactic of demanding sources, then dismissing them.
I could have prepared sources and you would have seen it, but I didn't because I was told this wasn't a debate and was lied to.
@Tfmonkey @kaiservenom also people like destiny can only reply nitpick other people’s solutions. I’ve never heard him actually provide his own solutions to anything (could be wrong but all I’ve ever seen are debates). It’s easy to be an arm chair critic. Doing the work to actually come up with a solution is hard.
@Tfmonkey ugh, I tried to watch but that destiny guy was insufferable. What's your sources, where's the study? Instead of debating the ideas of observable reality all around you. He kept saying I disagree with that or there's no evidence but then would say lefty nonsense, but didn't give any sources or studies. All these idiots are fueled by weakness and emotion, like women or spoiled children. While I admire you trying to debate with him, it's like the old joke about playing chess with a pigeon
@UnpopularOpinion @Tfmonkey it's the same tactic of administrative harassment an employer or agency or government will use to get rid of someone that opposes them. They will selectively enforce rules and use technicalities to make life impossible until the person they're harassing quits or gives up.
@Tfmonkey Good Lord, what a clusterfuck.
Destiny came off like a little bitch, scared of engaging the actual points for whatever reason. Reputational blowback perhaps, who knows. It's why he deployed bad faith tactics.
I wanted your ideas challenged in a good faith non-adversarial discussion. Alex however clearly just wanted blood sports.
A low-blow from Alex and a wasted opportunity for everyone. You did well though, appreciate the time.
