@Justicar Indeed. Imagine if the restrictions were never lifted for the unvaccinated. These people wouldn't even regret their decisions, they'd still be laughing and criticizing us. Regarding Fallout's Legion, their leader Caesar believes that we shouldn't rely on technology as a weapon, because it comes at the expense of individual's strength and leads to increasingly advanced weapons and armageddon So all his soldiers must be proficient in hand-to-hand combat and value it above all else, even if they do occasionally use artillery and small firearms.

@Indignation It means polls are as pointless as elections. They don't make/sell Kamala or Biden yamakas, but the Trump ones are very popular. Look it up.

@Tfmonkey Now let's pretend Caesar was an amoral idiot and didn't want to destroy the securitron army. Well, the only way to get to the robots and activate them, is with House's platinum chip, as nothing the Legion had could pierce the bunker's armor. And what are the odds they can somehow reprogram the chip, or the robots, to force them to answer to Caesar, before they start shooting everyone on House's orders? About zero.
The obvious way to go is to destroy the bunker. It's not bad writing.

@Tfmonkey Caesar also acknowledges that the weapons his Legion uses are fragile on purpose, to force his men to be strong and to not become dependent on technology but instead relying on their minds and bodies. And they do use guns, just not energy weapons.

Caesar is thinking long term. On the other hand you have House, who wants to keep people ignorant, gambling and whoring, while his robot army conquers the world. What a great plan, can't see how relying on technology could go wrong at all.

@Tfmonkey I can't believe you actually criticized Caesar for destroying the securitrons in the bunker. That is precisely what makes the Legion the best faction.

The WHOLE point of the Legion's philosophy is to create strong men that won't nuke the world AGAIN. Relying on superior technology to defeat an opponent works in the short term, but it will inevitably lead to weak men and nuclear war. Even women can be soldiers if the tech is advanced enough. And Caesar even explains this in the game!
