Emmanuel Goldstein felt like mirror version of big brother or controled oppsition. Like all creators of party were killed but he only survived and kept fighting the big brother. But main resistance member is the member of inner party. That created the honeypot to trap any people that would fight the party.

If there's one opinion that separates the controlled opposition from the rest, it's their take on the outcome of this war.
Any channel that promotes the idea that the elites are going to lose, either because "good triumphs over evil", or because those in power are stupid, is 100% lying to your face.
Any channel that peddles false hope, on the backs of politicians like Trump or Putin, is serving the elites.
Same thing if they promote religion.
It's false hope that makes the situation hopeless.
