@basedbagel I think the best way to appreciate an employee is to give them compliments amongst their employees & giving them more money

Not enough people get this.

@marlathetourist Not only that the royalty of the UK killed Diana Spencer when they knew she was pregnant from an Arab millonaire .

My view on royalty or a royal family is it’s a relic of a bygone era.
Benevolent or not it was a political system based on genes and favoritism and it’s outlived its usefulness.
Now relegated to the tabloids I still can’t understand how the masses fawn over these inbred overindulged nitwits. As an aside, you could say the same thing about the Kardashians.
So, to quote Elon Musk “Go fuck yourself”.

@Stahesh Unpegging would have upfront impact, but tying it to some other stable system or... commodity would avoid any currency collapse. Debt, and money flow would be the primary issues in my mind. Governments can work around that domestically though.

@Stahesh In France, I deadly expected Macron to go the Protectionism route of keeping the environmental nonsense regulations and implement tariffs to foreign food imports.

Instead he stopped the Ecophyto plan to reduce pesticide use and the Environmentalists are fucking pissed.

@Based_Accelerationist

I thought they handcuffed you when they gave sentencing?

And Im kinda indifferent about this. Dude is clearly unhinged and wasted some of great athletic talent.

On the other hand women shouldn't be judges. This guy's about to be put in the hole for years and they want to make sly sarcastic remarks that are unnecessary.

A judge should be an impartial, unemotional arbitor of the law

@Zeb @Stahesh Yes .What if they unpeg it from the dollar and peg it to gold or oil ?

BRICS Control 47% of Global Oil, U.S. Owns Just 2.1%

The US now needs to come up with initiatives and maintain its friendly ties with Saudi Arabia.

The Kingdom’s local currency, and the UAE’s currency, the Riyal and Dirham are pegged to the US dollar.

Therefore, Saudi Arabia and the UAE messing with the US dollar will only hurt their local currency which could impact their native economies.

@UncleIroh @Zeb @Stahesh @rohrkrepierer @Tfmonkey

this really has been a year of change for TFM, he went from saying it was not the jews to saying its some of the jews, he went from trusting market fundamentals to understanding that the whole market is rigged, he went from windows to linux, finally. what other surprises does this year bring for TFM and friends, stay tunned to find out.

Like he always says, "the pain of inaction must exceed the pain of action."

For those us into tech and programming, it's similar to "being lazy makes the best programmers".

I'll happily spend time automating something if it means I can do what I want quicker in a terminal than in a browser.

I'm betting he will start going into the linux terminal right after the next windows update, when microsoft start turning his computer off and setting his motherboard on fire remotely when he shitposts

@Zeb @Stahesh @rohrkrepierer @37712

Absolutely no need to learn C to use linux.

I'd bet non-techies don't even need to drop into the terminal at all, even though that's where all the fun is.

And if you do, bash will see you through most things you could possibly need. If you needed something more complicated than arrays then python becomes the best option.

Good to see monke using linux finally, and Mint is a decent 1st distro.

I wonder how long before he starts customizing his bashrc..

@Stahesh Which begs the question, why are those security officers complying with laws made by people who despise them? Oh right, they're "paid to follow orders" and "have a family to feed". If these NPCs stopped complying and protecting government officials, like this female judge, maybe they wouldn't be treated like shit. And in a soyciety, criminals are probably more worthy of respect than the obedient citizens, if for no other reason than they're at least not contributing to it.
