@UncleIroh - When giving advice to young males regarding violence... I try to leave ethics, duty, honor, and morality, out of the conversation.
I tell them: "be smart about it." So, might makes right, but bear in mind the consequences. Evaluate your personal "might" accurately, because the stakes can be quite high.

I advise young'uns to think about their moral/ethical grounding FIRST, because a worldview necessarily entails all scenarios.
Consequentialist reasoning in 1v1 conflict seems to work out, but against the State it leads you to caving to Solzhenitsyn scenarios - "I wish everyone had ignored personal consequences". Now everyone is fucked so we all break rocks until we die, cowards.
