@Stahesh @Zeb @Justicar - I was sired by such a man. My parents were married, but that didn't mean anything to my bio-dad - numerous infidelities, confirmed by several sources (and resultant half-siblings).
I can make the connections between my personal family's plot arc - and society at large. They mirror well.
If I want a better society, it starts with a better family. My dirtbag dad isn't gonna do that. So it falls to me. That's why I sacrifice for my son.
Cheers. 🫡
@Gonzo17 along with the boomer youth orgies of the 60's. You can't just go around fucking anything that moves, without consequences. And I think those consequences include a flipped switch in a percentage of the male boomer cohort, that causes them to start seeing children as fuckable - when they probably wouldn't have otherwise.
So the percentage of bad boomers go around fucking kids. And the good boomers, acquiesce to the power of the state, and abdicate authority to stop it.
Just 2¢.
@Gonzo17 - I'm starting to reach the conclusion that they've all been molested. There's a few possible explanations:
1. Always has been, and just never talked about.
2. It's BS and females simply make the claim whenever a person might listen.
3. Molestation has actually been on the rise over the decades.
Personally, I'm inclined to call it mostly number 3, with a dash of 1 & 2. I blame the steady alienation of fathers and patriarchal authority within a family (for #3),
@sardonicsmile - There's a lot of Bullshito on YouTube, so I saw this and thought to myself: "Well shit, I've been in a number of stare downs with some real characters. Let's see what this guy says..."
My take? Very sound analysis and advice.
Youtube thought I would want to watch... So I clicked. First thought?
"Oh dear...
it always starts in Austria, doesn't it?
"
@RodrickSage - What if it's just us....?
I'd say we're fucked... But maybe not necessarily... I mean the country is fucked. Society is fucked. Civilization is fucked.
But self-reliant freedom-lovers (aka responsibility-lovers)? ...maybe they'll be alright.
@UncleIroh - That's an interesting observation...
@Lorgar -
@crimsonrealist - I got "Pilly Pin rap battle" from the headline...
Edit: "Philippine rap battle" (there's no letter 'F' in Korean).
@Gonzo17 - I'm all about arranged marriage.
Probably not what I would do if I were this girl's guardian... But it depends. Maybe for enough cows, I could be persuaded.
@nomebullyyou - It has its place... But not my first resort. I find it's usually just a headache.
Different strokes for different folks, I guess.
@nomebullyyou - I've known too many belligerent drunks to agree. Never met a belligerent stoner.
@Justicar - I can't help thinking that steampunk era guys, just didn't have proper psychedelics... or Robitussin.
Still... It changes color. It's a pleasant green. I can feel artistic. It suits the mood, when I'm feeling anachronistic.
@Justicar - You're in the UK, right? I seem to recall you mentioning...
Anyway, I hear it's the wormwood in absinthe that gives it the crazy - there's a THC like compound. In the states, I've been able to find wormwood absinthe, but it's always missing the key ingredient.
I think you can still get the original stuff in France. But honestly, I think there's been some hype around it. Impossible for me to know but after a mega-mushroom dose at one time, I'll bet absinthe is a let-down.
@marlathetourist - The local guys carry themselves like straight shooters. That FBI guy though... he looks untrustworthy.
Call it a bias, or call it a gut feeling... I don't trust that guy. I don't trust his words. I don't trust his face.
@nomebullyyou - Just semantics? ...or is there some philosophical insight to go with it?
@karnaalter - Thing is: I actually look forward to a conversation with an AI. It has been a long time since I looked forward to a conversation with a woman.
AI is better conversation - it just is.
@marlathetourist - Nice!
