There should be a flat tax of 10-15% and to hell with all these funky deductions.

You get a tax credit for owning a home, having kids, medical expenses and being married because that's what the gov wants you to do.

If the house you own is the house you live in then its NOT an asset because you can't sell it without a serious lifestyle hit.

Now with taxes the bottom 10% don't pay taxes and the top 10% can hire accountants that worked with the IRS that know all the loopholes to lower their tax burden. 2/?

My beef with taxes is the same as my beef with FAFSA when I was in UNI.

If you're at the top or bottom 10% of income earners you're good.

Anyone in between gets fucked in the ass.

Ex. At my UNI if you make below a certain threshold you can get a grant to go to school for free.

If you're rich you just cut thc check for tuition.

If you're middle class you get FUCKED IN THE ASS

TIL in Europe your employer works with the tax office to determine exactly how much you owe and all you have to do is make slight corrections as necessary.

Meanwhile in the U.S. we have people like Turbotax that lobby to keep the tax code as complex as possible.

@Based_Accelerationist I see your point but the issue with the Canadian truckers is that they already gave up too much freedom (no guns) so you're right for them there is no non-violent solution.

In the US there COULD be nonviolent solutions but thanks to people having ZERO perspicacity or courage I'm afraid you may be right.

Minivans these days are basically covered trucks so I didn't see what the big deal was.

I wanted a minivan because it was cheap and the trunk was big enough to fit things like a bike.

There are plenty of effective non-violent solutions.

For example, if 30% of essential workers did a strike we would end the vax mandate.

If men were more petty and just refused to pay by working jobs that make cash like a waiter the child support system would go bankrupt.
