@calicocrack On the surface it does not look like that crazy of a theory. They know most people will do nothing, so they are less concerned about being careful. They do have to do damage control, so it is not as if all of it is desired. They just do not care enough to have a more competent puppet at this time.
@calicocrack I am willing to hear this 3rd reason. Maybe it will seem crazy, but I have seen plenty of theories that seem crazy out there.
@marlin @caekislove @LovecraftEnthusiast There have always been children of criminals around. I have seen very few cases where a criminal was granted an exception to being imprisoned because of his children.
What we have here is a manipulation tactic by our leftist progressive media who hates the fact that locking up criminal scum actually solves the crime problems. They just hope that you will forget every other case where children are affected by arrests of their parents.
I have to wonder if those actually in charge of the Biden admin are doing a sloppy job of covering up his obvious mental decline or if they are deliberately setting him up so that they can eject him so that they can get a puppet that is not going to fumble his words every time he/she speaks publicly.
Hard to know for sure, as they have been holding on to Biden as puppet-in-chief for longer than I expected.
@ButtWorldsMan I am not sorry he is gone. By "I take no joy," I am not looking to shame others. I understand that the phrase gets used to tell others that they should be ashamed if they gloat over others deaths. I just mean I personally am not celebrating deaths. But I will also not mourn for those like this either.
And good point, he would try to force it on everyone else. So the world is better off with him gone.
@ButtWorldsMan I take no joy in the death of others. However, I recall that it was the pro-vaxx crowd that made places on Reddit like r/HermanCainAward celebrating those who "died of Covid." You just know those faggots would tell you not to gloat about deaths like these, even though they did so themselves in the opposite direction.
So if you encounter that sort of thing, remember who you are dealing with. Besides, "Covid deaths" are bullshit when you consider the loose criteria.
@Stahesh This sort of already exist with Rosario + Vampire. It sucks, like the vast majority of harem anime out there, because the main character does nothing while a whole lot of women are obsessed with him just because he exists.
Twilight is crap for the same reasons, just with the girl being the character that does nothing while she is chased by more than one guy.
@supersid333 @AngryWraith @SpurgAnon My statement was not trying to say that you were did not get it (clearly you do), but rather that it is ridiculous to impose this sort of law. Though I did not consider just "owning" an empty store for 6 months to technically comply with the idiotic law. I am sure if such a law were to pass, they would also force the owners to keep it running and not just let it lay empty.
@supersid333 @AngryWraith @SpurgAnon The reason you would close a store is never because you are making money and succeeding. If the store was still profitable, the owners would be looking to sell the store rather than close it, regardless of the reason the owner no longer wants to run the store there.
And who would buy a store that is always getting robbed?
@Heil_Honkler @Rudolf_von_Goldenbaum It's not going to help if you have a family full of libtards who will just dismiss it as "Russian propaganda" because Putler said it.
Of course whenever any shills use the term "Russian propaganda," it is their way of admitting it is true.
@Rudolf_von_Goldenbaum We really did not need Putin to say this for us to know. It should be quite obvious Slow Joe is not in charge of anything.
@deprecated_ii I recall the reason this would happen. If you are dividing integers, it will treat the result as an integer and round it down. Always down, not to the nearest number.
So when you have 13/6 = 2.1666, you get 2, and when you have -13/6 = -2.1666, you get -3. Rounded down each time, not to the nearest whole number.
Maybe this was specific to a particular language, but I remember this exact thing and why it happens that way.
@KG_Analytical_Dynamics_LLC I have to wonder how much of it is genuine fear and how much of it is just performative hysterics. Given that they (attempt to) shape the narrative for the public, they are fully aware of how what they say affects many people. So I would not put it past them to just be a bunch of liars pushing an agenda.
"It will just be awful if Trump gets elected (again)!" As if we did not already have 4 years where basically everything was mostly fine.
I get why some people for various and even justified reasons would not want to carry out actions that would be considered too extreme or violent. But if you would never be able to do that, at the very least just don't even bring it up or try to cope with "we'll vote 'em out" when voting is not going to fix anything. Just admit that it is unfixable, at the very least.
And even if Trump somehow were to win, do you really think it will fix everything?
Was listening to the local area's BoomerCon radio station this morning, and one of the hosts was responding to a comment. That comment was something about how "We don't have the conviction to do what needs to be done to take this country back" with a strong implication that it would not be something peaceful.
As you can expect, the host said in response that "We will stop them, because we are going to vote out the bad politicians."
Yeah, just what you would expect.
Looks like this will be my new home. Warning: I (probably) have Asperger's, so my be prepared for my autism to show through.
I don't think I am a right wing extremist, but I am sure anyone with low testosterone might think otherwise.
