@WashedOutGundamPilot Yeah, knowing all the same references is about as important to a relationship as what flavor of ice cream you both like. Which is to say, not at all important.
My wife and I have very different tastes for things we like to watch. Nothing wrong with that. She does not care that I do not watch many murder mysteries and I don't care that she is not into anime.
@WashedOutGundamPilot Many men may overlook a woman who is not really all that intellectually engaging or interesting due to the fact that he is willing to put up with a woman for as long as he is enjoying the sex. And if he tires of that, he has no further reason to engage in a relationship with her.
Meanwhile, the same woman may think she has "great conversational skills" because her feedback is comprised only of other vapid women and men who just want to sleep with them.
@WashedOutGundamPilot >jobs wages
Same projecting as always
>ridiculously good company
Now this is a point that needs addressing. Maybe they are good company for other WOMEN, but for men? Is that still the case?
Yes, the meme often goes that women are not worth conversing with, and that is true to a point. But I don't think it is just about capability or intelligence, but rather that women often never had to try being good at conversation in order for them to attract and keep men.
Another fun Roastie post, since this article keeps circulating:
First, this is meant for women in this demographic. You will see plenty more of it all your life, as a form of palliative care/encouragement. I haven’t even read it yet but I’m gonna point to the outfield and guess that it’s going to be that ‘good men’ aren’t in the same white collar professional circles as these women, and the girls just aren’t ready to date a dude who (theoretically) makes less than they do.
(okay I forgot I read the sheep shearing tagline the first fwd so maybe I cheated.)
@caekislove @WashedOutGundamPilot Hey now. That's a little too much oversimplification of their jobs, wouldn't you say? Sometimes they have to send emails, and that can be stressful! You don't know how hard it is to do BOTH PowerPoint presentations and sending emails. Sometimes you get uncomfortable sitting in your chair too long or the AC is going just a little too strong but not strong enough to put on another layer of clothes.
Not as easy as you thought, is it now?
@mrhorsetwat often it is both the parents and the teachers being bad, not just one or the other. But usually the parents are the bigger problem. Some parents think that they don't have to do anything other than just hand them off to the teachers and take no role in their education.
These days, it would be foolish to assume that your child is learning properly, especially since teachers are usually the least intelligent among the "educated" (see: grades and test scores of Education majors).
@MasterSimper @shortstories I don't know about that. If your profile picture is reflective of who you are, you are just going to be enabling them. The last thing they need is another cat in their lives.
In retrospect, it looks like a lot of changes for the better are happening as a result of the election being stolen from Trump. Trump might have been competent enough to make sure that the conflicts in Ukraine and Israel would not happen. Only the Biden admin could screw up that hard.
Not that Trump was amazingly competent, but these events would probably had different outcomes with him still in office. And unfortunately those outcomes would be the US maintaining their GAE empire longer.
@shortstories It is just a TERF instance that federated with the likes of us assholes because all the other lefty instances hate that the spinster instance does not like trannies.
They are still feminist, they just do not like that the progressive agenda puts them in the back of the bus in favor of the troons. Do not feel sympathy for them.
@sardonicsmile Please tell me he cut his losses and cancelled any future plans he thought he would have with her. There is nothing worth moving forward with such a woman.
If I was the father, I would be livid to have raised a daughter who became an unapologetic whore. He is just as passive now as he probably was during the years he was raising her.
It is not enough to be in the daughter's life as the father. He needs to have a spine as well.
@kaiservenom @Tfmonkey Depends on who you ask. Some on the right might cite them, but I suspect a lefty might cite some Scandinavian country with a birthrate of 1.7 instead of 1.4. All of which is due to immigrants in those countries having a lot of kids while the native population still has a low birthrate, which shows that the generous welfare does not raise birth rates but rather just attracts those who are looking for more money with kids they already would have had regardless.
@kaiservenom @Tfmonkey Japan's work culture may have some issues, but it is not THE reason that the birth rates are low. This is pretty much just "the economy is the reason people are not having children" meme that has been used as an excuse.
I don't think I need to say it is women's empowerment lowering birth rates, but for those that want to blame economic conditions should be told to provide an example of a "good" economy where birth rates are good. Most likely they will have no example.
@sardonicsmile If I were in a combat zone wondering if I am going to make it out alive or not, I certainly would not want to be wearing the kind of socks I don't like! Just think about how stressed I would be, thinking, "Oh my socks just don't feel right! How can I focus on staying alive when my socks are all wrong?"
I get the feeling that the US is going to keep balking on any real commitment to boots on the ground operations because they know that their ranks are full of failures like this.
Theory: Any woman who unironically uses the term "the ick" is one that has a high body count. This is because these women have such damaged brains (the same that made them engage in sluttery) that they have no real proper discernment of what traits are important for a man to have that they just start looking for any stupid excuse they can find to mark a man in the "rejected camp."
"Oh he drinks his alcohol with a straw! That SO gives me the ICK!"
@Rudolf_von_Goldenbaum Serious question, how are Chinese restaurants "kosher" exactly? I know about Jews going to eat Chinese on Christmas, and as far as I recall every Chinese place serves pork dishes.
Is there some obscure Jewish law that states "Chinese food is an exception to kosher food laws?"
@Tfmonkey So if you were worried about Russia "slow walking" their plans, it might not be the case. It certainly would be a devastating blow to the Big GAE to sink even more money to Israel and have things go worse for them, all while not having to do a lot of the heavy lifting themselves, considering they have a whole lot of people in the region already pissed off at Israel.
Maybe I am reading too much into that, but I see it as a strong possibility.
@Tfmonkey Been doing some thinking. I remember you stating that Russia was talking with countries like Iran (and others in the Middle East). There are claims that the attacks from Hamas were coordinated by Iran. Not saying that is actually true, but if it is, I am seeing some possible connections.
Perhaps this is a attack against NATO by BRICS, considering every NATO country is all "rah rah Israel." It also falls in line with your theory about what you said before with Israel being a target.
Looks like this will be my new home. Warning: I (probably) have Asperger's, so my be prepared for my autism to show through.
I don't think I am a right wing extremist, but I am sure anyone with low testosterone might think otherwise.
