There was a history of promotion based on testing people not by math or science but by their knowledge of the Confucian tests in a bureaucracy exam in China

This kind of culture spread over to South Korea

There is a creativity deficit in South Korea in spite of high test scores

Because they were trying to memorize old ideas instead of trying to evaluate if ideas were true based on the scientific method

If someone is ranked with a higher social rank than you the standard Korean way of thinking is to believe that the claims they make are true and that the normally right thing is to obey what they say

This is self contradictory because two people of higher rank than you can say contradictory things but they do not tend to think about this kind of thing much

I am not fluent in Korean but I have studied the language for many years

Korean is considered by many people to be the most Confucius country in the world

Embedded in the language structure is social hierarchy in every verb

Whether or not Confucius originally intended his philosophy to be that way

Somewhere throughout time it became philosophy of ranking people into social hierarchies

And determining truth and morality based on the social hierarchy

European philosophers simply led to better scientific progress and inventions than Confucius as a philosopher

That is why Europe was able to take over Asia with guns and force them to enter into trade

Confucius philosophy was based on determining truth by social validation where as European philosophy was about determining truth even when it goes against the social grain

There might be an exception to what I said regarding sloths and certain very slow primates

Maybe they have a higher percent of slow twitch muscle fibers also

I would guess more of the differences between humans and other primates are related to genetics than percent of fat vs carb and meat vs plants in diets

Humans supposedly tend to eat a higher percent of meat in their diet than other primates but might tend to be weaker in terms of the maximum force per muscle mass they can produce in short duration activities

A large proportion of the difference is most likely explained by genetics

Possibly also that we are not doing constant arm exercises hanging from trees with our body weight all day

Humans might have better endurance but lower strength than other known species that mainstream biologists classify as primates

Supposedly exercising above a certain intensity for more than a certain duration requires carbohydrates and can not be done with fat alone for metabolism

Supposedly in the absence of sufficient carbohydrate protein will be converted to carbohydrate

This might have enabled humans to do long duration craftsmanship that advanced technology

Autists can be effected by propaganda because propaganda is more than just about social rewards or social validation

Propaganda still works on autistic people

If they trust the news for things they can not see evidence refuting it in their personal life

If the news convinces them certain bad things will happen for listening to certain information for non social reasons
