When you focus on one thing people will find shortcuts to reach desired goal.
So apparently some power lifters try to get obese so that they do not have to lift the bar as far from their body to the required location for competition when doing bench press and this obesity can make it easier to count a bench press without getting stronger

@shortstories @mitchconner I have a relative whom we assumed was non-celiac gluten intolerant; In time, however, it was determimed by buying heirloom wheat sourced from Eastern Europe, that it isn’t gluten, per se - but the Roundup-Ready wheat, that is the problem.
