And that's perfect for the local face to face economy. Anything can be currency in a local economy so long as you keep building trust and adding value.

What I'm talking about is beyond that. The internet exists and isn't going away. There are currently national and international dark markets worth millions, even billions of dollars, both online and offline. And you can believe they aren't just going to go away.

Governments run or partipate in these markets too.

Fair enough. It is definitely more complicated than just paleo.

True, there are tribes and indigenous people who essentially live paleo, and they are among the healthiest people on the planet, but that also arises out of situations that cannot just be transplanted to the West.

It is our species ideal diet when stripped of civilzation, but the answer for us probably lies in finding the right combination of diet, activity and "Nature bullshit".

That's why I think those who live a mostly paleo diet are on the money - seasonal meat, veg, fruit & natural carbs.

You can have gluts of honey, meat, veg or fruit as the season dictates, so long as you also have lean times. Fasts or Intermittent fasting takes care of that.

That describes our optimal evolutionary diet and health.

Testosterone, I cannot agree. The dropoff numbers cannot be accounted for by bacteria, virus or by the increase in sedentary lifestyle. Yes, an active life increases T-levels, but the absence of activity does not explain the deficit.

Agree that they all look "healthier", more vital. We know that the nutrient density and quality of our food has worsened significantly since the 1950s. Our collective testosterone and sperm counts have been halved.

A couple of generations of constant fucking with our water supply, food, and medicines ... all these things have made us shadows of our former selves.
