@shortstories - intellectually? Academically? Sure.

Did it hit home? Did the abstract knowledge motivate me? No.

I dunno why I never thought of it in such stark terms, but it seems applicable.

For the sake of strategic patience regarding collapse (that is, for the sake of not being motivated to do something stupid, unproductive, and a waste of my own life)... I have to try not to think about it too much. 🤔

But it pisses me off in a visceral way - in a motivational sort of way.

@Justicar @UncleIroh - I've been thinking, the Mineral Rights deal, is nothing more than a fig leaf. If there's no minerals in what's left of Ukraine, aside from under Kiev... then there's no point, other than for NATO to walk away with nothing, while being able to say they got something. That's why Russia wouldn't object.

And Zelensky here... is acting like a woman, sabotaging a fig leaf. And Trump? He's frustrated with Z-bitch here, and may be about to say "fuck this."

So, I saw a video thumbnail from LotusEaters, quoting some politician I'm sure, saying "America is the new enemy of Europe"... and it got me to thinking. 🤔

Wouldn't it be funny, if a more adversarial relationship between America and Europe, somehow caused both to become more European (more white)?

I'm not too hung up on white skin (being a bit brownish myself 😅), but I really like traditional white culture (minus the Christianity, which is the tragic flaw there). So that'd be awesome. 🍻

Halsey has a bad habit of turning a geopolitics stew, into a bowl half full of pepper. Who would ever want to ingest a stew, that was half pepper by weight?

I don't mind Halsey having an opinion... But I tune in to TFM's show (and this may be a shock to some) to hear *TFM's* analysis on geopolitics. It would be great if that wasn't sidelined by lawyerly bickering. The show isn't a courtroom.
