One of the major problems I see with the younger generations is that even though many of them will place blame on the boomers for many of their financial issues (correctly), many of them will still somehow think that going to college was worth it in spite of the crippling debt and wasted years on a degree that gets them no job.

Modern meters are electronic and break easy. get 2 compression fitting 5/8 barb on one side, swivel 3/4 SAE pipe and some garden hose. assemble into short section 2 fittings one on each end. Turn water supply at t handle before water meter. Remove meter with 2 10" crescent wrenches. Install jumper in reverse order and turn water on. Use this method sparingly as the city will catch on and come to replace your meter.
