"...by a teaching that brooks no rival than by a teaching which offers them a liberal choice. They have very little idea of how to make such a choice and thus they are prone to feel that they have been abandoned...They see only the ruthless force and brutality of its determined utterances, to which they always submit."
"The psyche of the broad masses is accessible only to what is strong and uncompromising. Like a woman whose inner sensibilities are not so much under the sway of abstract reasoning but are always subject to the influence of a vague emotional longing for the strength that completes her being, and who would rather bow to the strong man than dominate the weakling--in like manner the masses of the people prefer the ruler to the suppliant and are filled with a stronger sense of mental security..."

@deprecated_ii Baked beans are amazing when they get the drippings off a pork butt.
@Xenophon My question is, when does his workday start? What if he works night shift, and he's having one after work?
Also, if she's so distraught at him drinking beer for breakfast, why is she still with him? I know why. You know why.
@Shlomo Unless they're half-white, half-asian
@Shlomo This is a fun gif, but I fail to see the connection to ancap.
@RoninGrey Progressives
@deprecated_ii I'm not opposed to four ears if they're evolutionary beneficial. Will the human ears become vestigial and eventually disappear?
@magicalthinking Yep. They're toast.
@Shlomo A very aesthetic drone
@37712 @VooDooMedic @Stahesh That's different from my way. I have a single browser that I use only for this type of work at home. Nothing like this touches my phone.
@deprecated_ii Beware the boob kitten!
@deprecated_ii Good guy shark is totally misunderstood.
@Autumn Use a juicer and mix and match all kinds of fruits. You can use apple or pear as a base for most things and accent with things like blackberry and mint. Chocolate mint is excellent with strawberry and banana. Add in clover blossoms and culinary lavender to raspberry and cranberry for a tangy and sweet balance.
@YoMomz @Tfmonkey People get most upset rather than reflective when reality contradicts a specific part of their identity: their ontology, because it destabilizes the core of what they consider to be true about the world. Identity is a broad term, and you will get a different response if you show that someone's ideas about something like a technology pertaining to their occupation is outdated than if you show that their worldview is based on a specific assumption that is false or is unpalatable.
Yes, I am THAT DoubleD.
No, I will not explain further.
