But it reinforces my often-stated point (unpopular though it may be), that offenses against minors are most often a moral choice, and is usually nothing more complicated than extreme selfishness at the expense of the victim, along with everyone else who is left to clean up the mess, and try to help the victim try to piece their life back together.

@Justicar - As far as I can tell, the watermelon thing is just out-dated. Watermelons do well in the south, and most blacks are still in the south. It's mostly a southern rural thing, in all actuality, but since there's so many black people in the south... I suppose an association was made. I think the last time that stereotype was used in earnest though, was around the 1950's.

Chicken is much simpler. Chicken is cheap protein. And it's fantastic when fried.

I've reached a similar conclusion regarding consent. If I were remaking the world, I'd have consent rest with a male guardian until marriage - at which point consent is universally understood to be permanent.

These are steps in the right direction.

There is much to be done... And it can all be undone if women don't lose their rights.

But life has taught me that it's worth being an optimist. Bright side: maybe men will see life improve. And upon seeing this... Nay, upon *experiencing* this.. perhaps they'll see that
