The application of violence needs to be balanced. I'm in favor of slaps - but not in favor of punches. I mean, things are bound to go too far at times, but a man should try to keep it minimal. 🍻

Let's see... 🤔 Hadrian was in charge of the known world in his day. And I'm often told that Jews run the world... 🤔 But it's hard to believe Israel is the actual seat of power, sitting as it does on the front lines of a cold war against patriarchy and 1.2M Muslims. 🤔

But a combat environment is dynamic and unpredictable. And the fact is, all the authority in the world only goes so far, under such conditions.
So it's bound to happen. But I would do what I can to discourage the practice. And hopefully, the warriors available will be high enough IQ, to see the benefit of having untouched war brides assigned in good condition.
@37712 - Yeah, I too would make rape a death sentence. But I would define it as a property crime, prosecuted/reported by the male affected (husband, father, or nearest male relative).
For an offender who is otherwise valuable to the community, castration may be considered as an alternative to execution.
Basically, the thing that would make rape so terrible in a patriarchal community, is that it amounts to forced cuckoldry. And that shit deserves a death sentence. 🍻

But it's viable in a real patriarchy. I can't see any point in quibbling about how best to save an unsaveable system. But in the rebuild, when we all have our cohesive little communities (I really like city-states in the Greek model, personally)... It's viable.
We ought to let go of what's already been built though - a hard lesson.💁🏻♂️🍻

My problem is with the preachers, because so far, every single one of them has used their overbearing "wisdom"... as a means of trying to wipe their own celestial slate clean. 🤦🏻♂️ and that's giving them the benefit of the doubt. It's like: "maybe just worry about your own shit, asshole".😠

Well personally, I find bible-thumping evangelicals much more insufferable than Jews (I'm from the south, so naturally they've had much more negative impact on me, than Jews ever could).
That's a solid point, but the problem of religion is real (baDUM 🥁). So I'll keep looking for a way to mitigate it.
My best idea so far? Ban preaching outside of religious spaces & the home. And as benevolent dictator, monitor the religious spaces, to be dealt with as needed. 🍻

Like, if Marcy Projects in NYC decided to "go to war" with the state of NY... How much cohesion and strategy on their part, could be expected?
Maybe Gaza was just that unwise.

Thankfully, in the post-collapse, I don't see the internet being a thing anymore. And cameras will probably be a lost technology. So in time, this will become a moot issue. 🍻
