@basedbagel Problem with imposter syndrome is that you think that people around you know more and have life figured out.
So if you want to cure it. You need to know that most people are stupid, they know few things and they do not even plan for future.
I see a lot of imposter syndrome on social media and I don't get it.
Maybe it's its because I'm underemployed in this shit market but to me it's pretty simple.
If I don't understand something I'll just Google it/ take a class and practice it until I understand it.
Poof! Imposter syndrome gone.
I swear some people just love to talk lol
@Stahesh
> Like trying to put together magnets that repel each other
> I do not want to see them at work why sould I be somewhere with them for free?
@miyagiyoda
Maybe what you said was the case at one point or in your industry
But in my field it's just way for HR to justify their fake jobs and tp humiliate employees
Companies do team building backwards and wonder why it doesn't work.
If we work well together then I MIGHT be interested in a personal relationship with you.
I'm not interested in making friends with dumb, lazy, obese normies
No amount of "Team building" exercises or pizza parties will ever change that.
The correct way to do team building is to give a day off to the team if the project is completed early.
Then if we so desire we will meet up instead of this inorganic nonsense we have now.
@Mongoliaboo
It just makes me so sad because I wanted to prove the boomers wrong when it came to crypto and it just..
let's just say the boomers are up right now.
GOD I HATE admitting boomers were right but it's not looking good rn 😫
One thing that stands out to me Mastodon > Twitter is the depth of conversation.
I regularly see someone boost an old post of mine 15+ messages deep.
This NEVER happened on Twitter.
After ~36 hours their thread was dead
That's just called letting them live with you basically.
It just threw me off that people that I thought were working just as hard as me had their lifestyle subsidized by their parents that's all
I agree with you in principles, but in this specific case it didn't make me sad as much as it just surprised me lol I didn't know parents did that.
I just assumed everyone was busting their ass like me
> if there must be taxes
Yes there has to be taxes. I don't like it either but that's how it has to be.
The Ancap fantasy is just that. A fantasy.
You either going to be paying governments or local warlords.take your pick
@basedbagel You used to be in a bad economic position, then you compared yourself to others, and now you are both in a bad economic position AND miserable. And all that for people who don't even care about you.
Also, if you focus on what you lack, you will miss what you have. There are people out there who have to survive with less than $2 a day. And opportunities in life come by leveraging what you have, not what you lack, so it's important to focus on the former not the latter.
@Mongoliaboo
Another reason I'm out of here once I get my $ right.
The institutions are a joke and I'm not going to spend the rest of my life outrage d about what some liberal arts dummy of the day has to say.
I already got my 2nd passport.
I'm working on the $ and when I hit my # I'm gone.
Sick of watching this 🚂 wreck of a society leech off me and blame me for everything
