Yes, there is nothing the government can realistically do. They don't need taxes anyway, they can just print infinite money.

What they NEED is men working and maintaining their system. Taxation is mostly a fear tactic and strategy to keep men poor and working their whole lives.

Big huge no.

This Wednesday show was pretty entertaining, but I still think the funniest "fact check" we got from Halsey had to be the hospital that Israel totally did not bomb. Also, I believe Halsey's outfit needs an update:

True enough. There are flavors of nix that can be used at all levels, and within most you can be entirely GUI-driven if you want.

My kids began learning on raspberry pi from the get-go at a young age and never needed to drop into the terminal, at least initially.

Literally anyone can use linux and I agree, it's super cringe when wannabes with pretend emacs.d profiles go give cringe "l33t" advice. Fuck those guys.

@marlathetourist @Stahesh

Both are good ideas. A ferro rod will always be handy and none of these weigh much or take up much space in a bugout bag compared to the discomfort of not having it when you need it.

From a nurse who caved to the vax mandate:

"I envy all of them. As a nurse myself with so much fear and anxiety I made the biggest mistake of my entire life. However. It has taught me that 2 youngest will never receive another vaccine in their lifetime. Ever. Written in stone it is. The least I can do.
From this nurse.

To all of you who held strong and did the right thing, thank you. You are the light in all the madness."

Yup.

Linux trusts you to be a big boy and so doesn't play childish games like "Weellll, I know you asked me to delete the files but you're also dumb, so tada!! Here they really are!!"

Nope, you're fucked unless you know data forensics.

Mitigations? Backups or time-machine-like programs where you can roll back.

Or try your hand at using ZFS or BTRFS to live-snapshot data.

Amen brother. The one time I worked with an all male older-guy team I loved it.

Competence off the charts, genuine cooperation, good banter, no fucking dramas at all, huge productivity. I miss that place.

The sheer amount of stuff that can get done with a good team of guys has to be seen to be believed sometimes.
