But in my field it's just way for HR to justify their fake jobs and tp humiliate employees
Companies do team building backwards and wonder why it doesn't work.
If we work well together then I MIGHT be interested in a personal relationship with you.

No amount of "Team building" exercises or pizza parties will ever change that.
The correct way to do team building is to give a day off to the team if the project is completed early.

One thing that stands out to me Mastodon > Twitter is the depth of conversation.
I regularly see someone boost an old post of mine 15+ messages deep.
This NEVER happened on Twitter.
After ~36 hours their thread was dead

It just threw me off that people that I thought were working just as hard as me had their lifestyle subsidized by their parents that's all

@basedbagel You used to be in a bad economic position, then you compared yourself to others, and now you are both in a bad economic position AND miserable. And all that for people who don't even care about you.
Also, if you focus on what you lack, you will miss what you have. There are people out there who have to survive with less than $2 a day. And opportunities in life come by leveraging what you have, not what you lack, so it's important to focus on the former not the latter.
Another reason I'm out of here once I get my $ right.

I worked for minimum wage at my campus job. One day a feminist coworker bitched to me about her pay.
I asked her how much she got paid, since I make minimum wage she should make 77% of that, she looked shocked and went silent.
