@Mongoliaboo
>that this is the only leverage an employee has in the workplace
Sadly I agree. I feel the same way about regulatory bodies. I thought they were useless bureaucratic institutions that kept things expensive.
Then one day I needed to use them and they were my only recourse.
It's sad moral decay has come to such a point where the only way to make any reasonable change is to threaten loss of money.
> You might as well take notes like Justice Kavanaugh
What do you mean by this?
@sardonicsmile
You explained this better than the 3 best buy employees I encountered.
I'm still a bit annoyed because it feels a bit deceptive to me but it makes sense now
Hit the nail on the head! @Stahesh
I said it before and I'll say it again.
I had an easier time setting a business than getting a job.
Albeit the income was less stable, but that should NEVER be the case.
I saw the theme differently.
I always thought the theme of Charlie and the chocolate factory was that your vices can help you (All of the kids vices got them into the factory) but will ultimately be your demise if you don't correct yourself.
Everything about the current state of the modern workplace disgusts me.
I hate how employers lie about any and everything and are so terrified of any liability they refuse to give any honest feedback.
I also can't stand lazy, weenie employees who bitch and sue at the slightest provocation.
I NEED my biz to take off because idk how much more I can take.
@houseoftolstoy
I see your point now that actually makes more sense.
I agree it would be interesting to see his take on it.
Whenever I get a minute I'm going to look into it and see what I can dig up.
@houseoftolstoy
What made you say Mike TV was sloth? I always thought of him as wrath with how much he bitched at his parents.
Its one of my favorite movies so I think about it alot and the idea popped up on my head.
Though I doubt im the first person to come to this conclusion as it seems kinda obvious in hindsight but I saw it as a kid so I was just blissfully unaware singing along to the music lol
@Mongoliaboo
Unfortunately he doesn't do debates anymore.
While I understand why it would be quite fun to see him rip destiny to shreds now that he's divorced
Not that kind of blue pill I'm good!
>those two triggers will activate automatically when you see it irl
I rebuke!
I will block that shit out of my memory like a bitch when it's time for accountability
@VeganMGTOW
When I say you can't buy health I mean you can't buy the discipline needed to maintain a healthy lifestyle regardless of how rich you are.
Oprah is a billionaire and still fat because old habits diehard
@VeganMGTOW
That's True, I just didn't see the need to over explain since I have a high IQ audience.
The most important things in life can't be bought like:
A healthy body
A peaceful mind
A loving inner circle
However all of these things are MUCH easier to achieve with money.
You could hire a trainer, go to some meditation retreat or travel to find people more compatible with you.
But to do that you're going to need some money so you can buy the resources and buy back your time to do so.
Money DOES buy happiness! Don't let anyone gaslight you otherwise! 😤
Money got me:
My own place
Regular massages
My dream tech setup
All of this brings me happiness daily and the novelty has yet to wear off.
Animations, memes, and philosophy.
