You're right ut was my ego but I can't help it as I've always had a big ego.

I definitely went to places with no mask so they'd have to give me one or kick me out.

I felt good that I didn't blindly comply but in hindsight I may have been making life harder for myself as my resistance didn't affect any meaningful change .
