@dander @Tfmonkey @VooDooMedic Not sure if Pakistan has hypersonic ballistic missiles. Iran, China, and Russia have a lot of anti ship missiles and have developed them if I myself recall. Though I think only China and Russia have had serious headway into hypersonic missile development.
If Pakistan gets those from either of them though I wouldn't be awfully surprised.

At least whenever the next no shit conflict was going to happen. Neither can really take any ground or give it because well.. either is in the position for genocide.
Only reason Israel is still around likely is nukes and they had a relatively modern system and strong US. Those are not either so advanced or strong anymore.

@sardonicsmile I think it goes to show that while free markets are amazing even the best of economists or thinkers can overlook something. Quite interesting. I remember his thoughts on China fairly well and while it did not make them 'freer' by any means it did expand their wealth significantly.
@sardonicsmile Milton Friedman was a smart man and in practice what he says is true to some extent here. However, it is not a smart nor a good thing since amnesty is an option and plenty of illegals still get issuance of ID and can roll off dolls in the US. Better to have organic economic action than to set the grounds for something that is disastrous should a governing body take the opportunity.
@37712 @Tfmonkey I stopped following sports for years. Decided to come back and enjoy them a little bit. Mostly for conversation and I don't mind throwing a game on the side when they roll around kinda like how one would have the radio on while doing chores or labor. The other thing (Maybe it is US only) is there are fantasy sports which you can pretty passively do and it gives you insight into players in a given sport as well. I don't mind enjoying some of the circus for what it is.

One thing I find ridiculous about the projection of the African population over the century is the assumption that the population growth will be sustainable in any way. And add in the fact that when Western governments collapse, a lot of people are going to die when food aid is no longer coming in and the violence that will likely follow.
